Not in college, but yes, at bachelor parties. They used to call them "Stag Movies".

I also remember a guy my dad worked with when I was a kid would buy by mail order negatives of nude women. He had a darkroom in his garage and had a side business of making photo prints from the negatives and selling them. If you tried to have a regular photo processor make them you risked being arrested and charged with a crime back then.

When we would visit my dad's friend my dad would go out into the garage with him and I was told not to go out there. Which was okay because I had a crush on his daughter and her and I would "play" in her room.:hide:

My dad told me the whole story years later and we got a big laugh out of it.

A friend of mine found his dad's collection of stag movies, all Super-8. We watched a couple, they were pretty awful. And frankly just gross.

My first exposure to "real" porn was in the late 80's when a friend of mine discovered his dad's video stash.

I still have a soft spot for the 1980's "Golden Age of Porn" movies. The production value was high, many were shot on actual film vs video, and while the actors and actresses were not as attractive as "modern" porn stars, there was a certain allure and quality to the movies that modern counterparts lack.

I remember watching what were called one reelers. That was so long ago that they were black and white & silent about 15 minutes long. The were so short that things happened quick.
