I love my new job
 

It's been about 2-1/2 years since I got this job. I now have a normal owner, plus good folks to work with.:yesnod:

I just got my second raise yesterday. :seasix: About 2.1% this time :dance:

It's nice being appreciated instead of "used"

Congrats on having a decent boss. The last several years prior to my retirement were brutal. I had a very good boss, who had a very good boss. Had this not been the case, I'd have gone postal or been fired years before I retired. So thankful.

Same here. I have a great boss, but the work environment is horrible. I'm currently 64 and I'll be retiring the last week of February 2020, just 3 months short of my 65th birthday. I'm burned out and had enough. Good for you that you have a great boss, able to get increases, and are happy.

The 2 folks that work in my department have an awesome boss!

I'll need that in writing from them!:lol:

I just had my first formal review since 2014. Supposedly there might be a salary increase to go along with that small miracle. Fortunately I love my job and have stellar co-workers; if the "company" was a bit more focused on their human resources it could be a dream job.
