Just A Relaxing Day

Slept in a bit (needed that), the rest of the day was relaxing, met my veteran buddies for lunch at the local AL, then did a bucket wash and detailed the Vette while listening to some Clapton concert cd's, which for me, is a perfect day out in the "clubroom". :D

Not for nothing Norm but that car can’t possibly get that dirty to begin with that it needs much detailing does it?

Got a feeling that's not the point :D

Retirement can't come too soon for me.

Black paint on cars...it’s not a color, it’s a career. :Jeff '79: :yesnod: :seasix:

The only way I'd own another black vehicle was if it wasn't my daily. That color is just too much work.

I do drive it though, 53,000+ miles. I'm like others, if you have a black car, you just don't want to look at it dirty (my case, just dusty).

Retired 11 years now, love it. Detailing the car is about the most exercise I get now a days, so I do that a lot, with her car and the truck.

Embarrassing story time -

Last summer I got caught in a thunderstorm on my motorcycle. That in itself isn't a particularly big deal but the road I was on was under renovations so there was mud *everywhere.* By the time I got home I was head to toe mud and soaked. Like jump in a lake with your clothes on soaked. I was in the garage until 0200 cleaning the damn bike under a couple quartz lights. :Jeff '79:
