6 Way Power Driver’s Seat Motor
1 Attachment(s)
I have a 2011 Grand Sport Coupe 3LT Z51 with Paddle Shift Auto. It only has 45,000 mi. on the clock and is in excellent condition.
The 6 Way Power Driver’s Seat has started malfunctioning, in that it only moves fore and aft but will not go up and down or tilt at the front. I can hear the motor engaging but nothing happens. I am in need of the middle, of the 3, identified by the numbers: 3L1551, JE1M79067, 8124840 stamped on it. It is the one in the picture with the zip tie around it. Taking that seat in and out is a real chore for me and my bad back. Any and all help would be appreciated. Brian Miller at Vette Villains was a big help but unfortunately sent me the incorrect motor and does not have the correct one. Thank You! |
That was a common problem with C5's. Usually the fix was to replace the seat and/or seat frame.

Thanks, that’s what I found out today. My dealer quoted me $4000 to replace the Seat Track Assy. w/memory. It only comes as a complete assy. You can’t buy the motors separately. $3345 MSRP. Anyone know of a used/wrecked Corvette parts dealer? |
