Anyone interested in a 1981 C3 with only 50 (yes, 50) miles? It was driven home from the dealership and parked and kept in a garage its whole life. It is all original. Runs like new. It is a two owner car as the original owner passed away and now it is in his wife's name. Excellent car! $30,000. Call [hidden information] if interested. Not looking to trade. Located in Monteagle, TN.Attachment 45074 Attachment 45075 Attachment 45076 Attachment 45077 Attachment 45078 Attachment 45079 Attachment 45080 Attachment 45081 https://www.facebook.com/marketplace...2777891130014/ |
Damn, I’ve been looking for an original driver C3 for a while.
It would be a shame to actually drive that. |
And have a new Toyota Camry beat you. :yesnod:

Well, I stopped at a Bar B Que place in MountEagle a few years back.
Wouldn't mind going there again, but I don't drive to Fl. anymore. (don't remember the name, but the place was huge - general store plus motel). Hmmmmmmm. Check back in the fall? :seasix: |
At an auction back in 2009 ??? I bid on a brand new 1981 C3; never titled... had about 9 miles on the ODO. Surprisingly looked like the one pictured in the original post, same color and had the mirrored T-Tops. Got toooo expensive for me, winning bid was around 25k.

Is that a CB radio mic on the console? lulz

I love that paint color - if I had not just restored my ‘82 we might have been talkin’

I wonder if this is the car sold at the McDorman auction? My highest bid was $19k; wasn't enough :( They also had a 1982 Collectors Edition, new - never titled. It sold in the mid $30k range. This is the one car they had that I was super interested in; main reason I went to that auction. |
Idiot stealership put their decal on the back.:wtf:

Some chick I knew had a 78 pace car. She cried when she sold it.
Them late C3s were dogs but they sure look good. Even in yellow. https://www.corvsport.com/wp-content...tLeftFront.jpg |
Horrible investment. MSRP was around $17k plus options. It hasn’t even doubled in value in nearly 40 years.

The 80-82's had some great lines. Some of the prettiest Vettes. Just discouraging when a jogger would pass you on the road. :yesnod: |
