This is the closing shot of the movie my son just wrapped. I’ve seen it four times now. That’s enough.

I guess the good part is it looks realistic and he comes back home :yesnod:

You know, I’ve never maintained that he is an actor. His experience is more like a reality TV type - a mini Mike Rowe with the same penchant for fart jokes.

But that I was genuinely upset at the ending means his acting was convincing enough for me to suspend my disbelief enough to buy in emotionally.

I hope he does more. Not for a living but because he seems to really enjoy it. With some work on his craft, he could be good. I think his gift of being relaxed in front of a camera is a lot of it.

They wrote the lead part for him. A snarky, smart ass. What a stretch.

He looks like a young John Cusack.

I don't think I'd like to see my kid playing dead either.

Abbey has done some short films and documentaries but nothing in the horror genre, although she does like to watch them.

Oops. “Beneath” first time effort by young filmmaker. All non actors except my son (apparently. I had no idea). B grade but fun. The ending is intense. Instead of the usual “lead actor survives” 5is one goes the other way. That photo is the last shot and stays on screen an uncomfortably long time.

First he gets shot in the gut. It was very believable.

It’s hard to watch your own work. You get sick of it. I haven’t listened to my album since November.
