Any golfers?
 

With Spring slowly getting closer, I thought I would see if there were any golf nuts on the board besides me. I am always looking for people to golf with so post up if you want to hit the links. Maybe we could do a Vette Barn golf outing.

The best thing about me going to the golf course........I always get to work on my vocabulary. I have invented a few words while on the links. Yes I am glad warmer weather is on the way, can't wait to get out there again.

Sorry...not a golfer, even though I live on the 4th hole fairway of a golf course. Nope...once it warms up...it's boating season for me!!!

I used to play a lot like 10 years ago but just for fun and by that I mean I usually ran out of balls before I finished the course. The guys I played with all got too serious about it so I dropped out.

I tried but could never get into it, even after a few lessons. I even own a golf cart (negotiated it with my house).

I go out there for fun as well. I am an OK golfer but still look at it as a game and nothing to gets pissed about. Hell I could go out and not keep score. Some of my friends and I will play dumb things like, you can only use your 7 iron on a hole or you have to use your clubs in order from driver to wedge. I just like being outside in the sun for 5 hours with a cold beer in my hand.

I believe Sneaks and WKMCD play a little golf.:lol:

Tim's a teaching pro and I belong to a private club with a great Fazio coures - also known as my back yard. I usually play 3-5 times a week depending on the weather. With all this snow, I haven't played in 3 weeks and that was in St Croix. :D

I may try to run down to Pinehurst this weekend.

OK count me in for the Pinehurst run, haha. I belong to the Signature at West Neck but with no other friends being members it kinda sucks. I am up for golfing anytime so let me know if you need to fill a foursome.

Me and a co-worker play almost every Friday afternoon in the summer at Stumpy Lake. It's cheap to play there and the beer is cold! :beer:

We only take it serious off the first tee and once we're out of eyesight of the starter, it usually goes downhill pretty fast.

He's a good golfer...me, just a hacker! :D

I've only touched the clubs once since the first week of December. Been a long arse winter, that's for sure. Tournament season is right around the corner, I gotta whip my game into shape fast! Can't make any money just beating it around. :leaving:

Roger I played in college for W&M... play a few times a year now, but just to have fun. My two "resolutions" for the year were to do more Corvette outings and play more golf. I'm totally game to hit the links. I've been telling kevin I'll go up and play w/ him for years now :(

Fishing and hunting is for people who can't find Farm Fresh, haha

I havent played in about 2 years but I have clubs and I like playing. There is another guy in my shop that likes to play. so like you hopefully we could get a group together and play. I am not good by any means but I like to play:dance:

do I sense a Vette Barn Open in the future?

Sounds like a winner to me. But I get an exemption from local qualifying. :D
