July 2012 Photo Assignment
 

The color blue.

Vehicles, sky, water, jeans, eyes, etc...it does not matter. Just as long as the main subject is blue in color.

Rules:

You must be the photographer, and it must be taken this month. Use whatever camera you have with you at the time.

Photo manipulation of contrast, lens correction (chromatic aberration, pin cushion, etc), exposure, brightness, color, sharpness and crop are allowed. "Chopping" something into the image is not allowed. HDR is allowed.

You may submit several images to get feedback, but by the deadline you must edit it down to one for the voting poll.

Use of Smart phone apps is allowed. No borders but filters are ok.

Deadline: July 31.

I'll look for something else for my official photo this month. But, I shot this the other day in Atlanta. Lots of things wrong with the pic. I thought that I would post it for the history though. If you have passed thru Atl. on I-75 and noticed this blue thing in the skyline. It is actually a rotating restaurant that has been part of the Atl. skyline for a very long time.

I bought several of these at Ikea a few years ago. Some type of almost translucent smooth stones. They look cool with a back light.

Here's my entry for the month. This is my buddies '57 Chevy 210 that I put a RamJet 350, 4L60E trans, 9" Ford rear with 3:50 Traction Loc,Vintage Air, modern P/S, COMPLETE rewire and a WHOLE bunck of other stuff into. I spent a year and a half working on the car for him. Believe it or not, the paint on this car is 20 years old.
We were out taking a ride in it and we went by a local park and I said "DAMN I wish I had brought my camera" and he said that he had his daughter's camera in the glove box. We stopped and I took about 30 shots of the car and this is the one we liked the best.

Can't say I've ever seen that, but I'm always the driver as we pass thru, last time was May this year. Lot of busy eye candy as you pass thru, particularly ay night. We love the visuals.
