2 pounds of Filet Mignon as the meat in hamburger helper with mushrooms, and fresh steamed green beans. :sneaks:
Bought 7 pounds over the weekend, had steaks Sunday night, and will have the rest Thursday night, but we LOVE a nice helper with the tail end of the Filet, which doesn't make good cuts of meat. |
That is certainly smaller than the 50 oz filet you had at the Cruise In. :yesnod:

Ground with a bit of tallow as a burger perhaps. Steak tips in a rich gravy. Even diced fine in a hash.
Hamburger Helper? Wow. |
we do same thing with left over steaks but make Stroganoff.
McCormick pack of Stroganoff spices (follow directions), water, shrooms, sour cream, egg noodles and steak - addictive :yesnod: PS - also can add some Ketchup or Fiddy Seven :seasix: |

A key ingredient in any Plate or Kettle of Waste... Protein byproducts never come out better than with the Helping Hand of dry goods in a box :kimblair: from Betty Crocker |

Filet Mignon and Hamburger helper should NEVER be used in the same sentence.
Unless you are making fun of it. :leaving: |
