CBS Poll - Only 40% Have Confidence in Obama

Another No Confidence vote on Obama:yesnod::yesnod:

Hot Air Another vote of no confidence in Obama from CBS poll

Nobama:cheers:

ChasC5 07-13-2010 12:36pm

I would have no confidence either if I knew any and everything the President wants to do would be opposed with a … no, no way, nada, can’t do it, it’s not going to work, it can’t work, will not support it, and so on as so forth. But here’s the good news …. The ball will soon be in the Republicans hand to do everything they said they would do over the last 18 months and everything they didn’t go over the last 8 years. Just hold your breath. Rush and Palin got all your answers. :willy:

Because everyone knows …

• The Economy was great 18 months ago.
• There was no immigration problem 18 months ago.
• There was no Federal Deficit 18 months ago.
• There wasn’t 2 Wars going on 18 months ago.

Everything was just marvelous on January 19th 2009.

This all happened in the last 18 months; before then, it was paradise. :skep:

Have you been sleep for the last 8 years or did this sneek up on you? :D

So … what spectacular thing that you’ve done over the last 18 months that can withstand national scrutiny? :D

Peter Pan 07-13-2010 12:52pm

• The Economy was great 18 months ago.
Economy was not as deep in a funk as it got when Obama got stimilus passed and what we are still at 9.5% unemployed, much worse than the blame Bush is still getting. Seems the 1 trillion to create jobs has lined pockets and the average tax payer is not one of those or the unemployed.

• There was no immigration problem 18 months ago.
This problem has been around longer than I have been alive, I give AZ credit to atleast try to tackle the issue for there state as the Federal Govt will not. Ammensty is not the answer, send them home and let them come here legally.

• There was no Federal Deficit 18 months ago.
Yes we ran a deficit for some time in America, seems only a Demo of recent memory ran a positive govt and this was when the Reps were in control of congress, Newt and his contract with America. Clinton even did welfare reform and this has been undone. Oh when Nobama took charge Demos already ran the house and senate during the last term of Bush, so seems they are just as much at fault as the other party here, they by passed the pres lots on spending bills, like congress has done for years, the problem no is they are huge spend arounds.

• There wasn’t 2 Wars going on 18 months ago.
Wars are ongoing and Terriost are at home fighting us vs flying airplanes into buildings killing Americans. We need to keep the flame going, seems we are still in South Korea and the North is looking us in the eye as no formal peace is on the books and last count there is approx 37k of our soliders there.

Time to change tracks after only 1 day of nobama, we can not spend our way out of the issues at hand, we are running out of the 53% of tax payers money, 1 trillion deficts are proof of this alone. Cut spending and balance the budget first, tax increases are not the answer, never have been before and in the first 18 months of nobama it is not getting better:cheers:

If you were to drop anything with mass, downward … how much force do you think it would take for it to revert in the opposite direction and how long?

This isn’t a trick question. There are basic Economic and Physics formulas that can help you.

Now please be honest with yourself … knowing what you knew on January 20th 2009, exactly what state did you honestly think America would be in exactly 18 months later? Then think to yourself, how long did it take America to get to that state?

Once again, be honest with yourself, and allow your intelligence to be your guide.

:yesnod:

We can not spend our way out of the issues at hand, we need less taxation and spending from the Federal Govt. Hope and Change is not going to work as we will be bankrupt, look at Greece, we are on the fast track to be like them:cheers:

ACTION WORKS; TALKING POINTS DON’T

Where were you … saying … 2 years ago?

Or did everything you don’t like that’s going on just start on January 20th to the present day?

FACT: Do “nothing”; and downward forces continue to go downward.

I’m not sure how your 401K has been doing, but downward had not been my direction since March 9th 2009.

ChasC5 07-13-2010 2:04pm

Ok … then let’s agree that 18 months is more than enough time for a President to turn a catastrophic economy around; even though, everyone with a basic knowledge of the Great Depression, knows it lasted roughly from 1931 to 1937.

Let it be known … 18 months is now the new benchmark established by the Republican Party.

Let’s just hope no one here gets amnesia.

I'm saving this Post; to be re-Posted at a later date ... say around 18 months after the Republicans are back in power. :D

Oh I do not relay on a company I am the company. My cash account always does better I short stocks that su$k, lots eaiser to find:cheers:

Regan was in an economy much worse than this it did not take 6 years to pull out, but spending money we do not have is not the answer to pulling us out of this situation, it has gotten worse vs better in the first 18 months 9.5% unemployed ask them, I assisted in this as I had two others on my payroll in April 09, yes Nobama was in charge and now I am left standing with May 2010 I hope is the bottom of my business, I had zero people buy Obama Care that I sell, glad June picked up and I will see about July.

:confused5:Whooooooooooooooooooo … hang on their Cowboy.

Are you saying the Global Economic Meltdown that happened last year was NOT worse than what Regan had to deal with? :skep:

Ok … let me guess … it was only the size of an ANT … Right? And everyone on Unemployment are Lazy Bums. :willy:

Youzz Guyzz are getting Funnier by the day.

So basically this is an indirect way of saying "Bush's fault".... Sure it takes time and pressure to reverse "downward momentum" as you put it, but that doesn't give Obama a free pass as far as the actions he's taking to "change" America.

That'd be like saying you have a runaway car and the one driver decides to floor the throttle in hopes of running the car out of gas faster or blowing the motor.

The other driver simply puts the car in neutral.

Both will eventually stop the car but whic one does it the most efficiently?

Point is that the Obama administration's plans are not economically sound.... they are socialist big govt ideas wrapped in the guise of "saving" America.

No … you’re wrong … I don’t blame Bush. :confused5:

FACT: George Bush is gone, and Ronald Regan is even more gone. Both are irrelevant to resolving present day problems, so I’d suggest any one would like to praise or blame anyone who is a non factor, needs to focus on reality.

Like I said; There are basic Economic and Physics formulas that can help you understand how to change a bad economic situation into a better economic situation. Car analogies are not one of them.

jobs & the economy are what most people are worried about. but, *most* people are typically ignorant & impatient. polls are like markets. they go up....they come down. when the time comes to vote, if we are at least in as good a shape as we are now economically, these same people will have to honestly ask themselves. "do I really want to put the politicians back in that brought all this upon us?" :nono:

Lets remember the housing buble brought on by liberal ideas that "everyone deserves a home" caused all of this.... the housing bubble was the root problem and everything that piled on top of the housing bubble all had to fall when it burst.

GWB and tax cuts for the rich etc. etc. etc. didn't cause "this". Plus GWB's tax cuts actually increased revenue to the Treasury... a fact that all the political spinsters love to ignore.... they just love to flame class warfare.

Ok so let me get this right … a Liberal Idea caused the Housing Crises, but “Act” of selling someone a home they couldn’t afford didn’t? :skep:

Naturally, “ONLY” the Bankers, who voted Democratic, made unsavory Home loans. In addition, “ONLY” Liberals bought houses they couldn’t afford and ‘ONLY” Liberals foreclosed on homes.

When you have Tea Bags clogging every orifice in your body, this is the type of logic you get and the reason why doing nothing is the answer to everything. :o_o:

It is totally entertaining to watch on TV.

Do you think mortgage companies would have engaged in the lending practices they did w/o the Fannie/Freddie backstop provided by the government?

All they had to do was sell the mortgage, collect their pay, then move it off their books to Fannie/Freddie. W/o them in place the real estate bubble most likely wouldn't have been created.
