I was 43 and my wife was 41 when we got married (first for both of us) We both decided to have no kids and I did not what to be 60 and have a kid in school. If we had been 15 to 20 years younger we may had 1 or 2.:cert:

Completely understandable. My friend and his wife adopted two at the age of 44, damn' . The kids now have a great family, but they will have two in high school and they will be in their sixties.

We had our first after having been married for about 3 years. Then, somehow, we convinced ourselves that we wanted 2 kids 2 years apart, so we had our second 2 years after the first. When we got Mr. B home from the hospital, and we were sitting around in our living room with a 2 year old and a 2 month old, we asked each other "why was it that we wanted them 2 years apart?" Neither of us could answer. :shrug:
