i have heard from somewhere out there that there is a method for brightening the display on the C5 AM-FM stereo unit with compact disc player. just wondering who and how that might be. some electronic outside source?

There used to be a guy on ebay that fixed the display for a fee. Might still be on there. If you're handy with a soldering iron, you can do it yourself. There are plenty of vids on how to do it on youtube. :seasix:
