Was just on Facebook awhile ago and posted this pic of a friend of mine that use to be my crew chief back in the old racing days on his FB page.

He was wild and tons of fun, Dirt we called him as a nickname.

He dragged these two girls in from a bar one night when we had a few of our cars at a car show. Hard to tell in the photo but both cars just had fresh sheet metal and lettering that matched and they looked great! (Late Model at the back and the Pro-4 at the front)

Anyway.... I'll be danged if his old girl friend we use to call Race Babe didn't show up on Facebook not long after I posted the pic above. :lol:

So while we are chatting online I dug out an old 2000 Easy Riders Swimsuit Calendar and some photos she had sent me years ago.

Then scanned them and posted while she was there.

She was a lot of fun also and went to about every race we had anywhere after she got with Dirt.

Yeah the pic of Dirt and the bar girls was 1991 and I remember that day well. :yesnod:

My ex now, was really pissed off about those girls he brought in for photos, he even hired a cameraman to come take the shoot.

Needless to say my copy's were destroyed by the stupid jealous ex. :(

I was accused of lots of crap the next day and had done nothing wrong.

Years later and don't know why I didn't think about it then I had the perfect alibi.. that dweeb in the back ground of the pic above was her brother, and would have vouched for me if asked.

I just didn't think to tell her to ask him.. who gives a rats ass if you believe me or not, ask your brother, he was there! is what I should have said..

Didn't know I needed to explain or should have too.. so never thought about it much. :island14:

She's married now with a baby daughter.

I asked if she was still single and joked that Dirt still was.. and maybe he would give her a chance if she acted nice. :lol:

That's when she told me she was married and had a daughter, so I suggested when she grows up she could be his GF instead.. :Jeff '79:

I love everything about that first picture. The hair. The suits. The droopy eyes. Everything screams mid-80s party. There aren't enough Dirts in the world.

Dirt was a trip, he is just now getting on FB but does not know how to use the net much yet.

We were over at Winchester for one of the big race weekends when they use to race Sat, Sunday, Monday for labor day and Memorial day weekends.

As usual the huge parking lot field was packed full of campers for the whole weekend, and they would even have a band on Saturday night so lots of partying going on.

Dood was seriously gone.. there was just no talking to him to make him go to sleep. and we found him between turn 1 and 2 on the track the next morning :lol:

Winchester has high banking of about 36 degrees in that corner, 37 at the other.

Where he fell asleep was up high in the corner, and you could see where his puke ran down the banking away from him where we found him.. (lucky for him)

The joke going around the next day was "I heard your crew chief crashed in turn one"... :Jeff '79:

I would reply.. "yeah he went into the corner a little hard and crashed"

At the time back then it really wasn't so funny as he did stuffs like this way too often.

But in hindsight now they were some of the best times of my life. :yesnod:
