The Perfect Pizza!
Hard to believe my 80 year old father has NEVER liked pizza... wtf? :wtf::wtf::spider:
There's a local pizza parlor that's been in town since the late 60's. Village Inn Pizza (not associated with any chains). Thin crust, both chewy and crispy. :yesnod: The perfect Pie (sans cooter): Pepperoni Beef (hamburger) Onion (extra) Black Olive Sauerkraut (sounds weird but you have to try it!) Sometimes I sub out the Sauerkraut w/ Jalapenos but never both at the same time. :popcorns: |

If it's not Chicago Style it's CRAP!!

Nice thick crust, burger, bacon, ham and extra cheese.

:puke: My sister lives in the Chicago area, so for years I would go there once or twice per year, and my nephew and nieces would just HAVE to bring me to the latest "fantastic" pizza place. Of course, I would have to say nice things while trying to force down that sloppy greasy mess they think is pizza. Luckily, they have outgrown that. |
My dad is 85. I have never seen him eat pizza. Evar.

I remember a "Village Inn" pizza place in our area as well
|
This is the place. Looks like they have retreated to only NC. The logo looks like what I remember from being a kid.

trOof. |
I had Village Pizza from place in Toledo years ago visiting family. Meh... Expensive and just ok to me.
Place closed few years ago, it had a ton of health violations before closed up. |

I was raised in Italy and there's no such thing as the perfect pizza here in the states. [/myElitistOpinion] |
