COVID vaccine question
I got my 2nd Moderna shot last Thursday and it is STILL kicking my butt. What is/was your experience?
|
Haven't had Covid, no need to take the shot. And please stop calling it a "vaccine".
|
Ours was Phizers both shots, no reactions....:shots:
|
I had the 2nd dose (Moderna) a couple of weeks ago & felt like crap the entire next day. Weak, tired, aches & pains. Completely OK the next day, except for some tenderness in my arm. 1st shot was a non-event.

I was Going to call it FRANK but that seemed like a silly name |
No problem with me and older people I know. It seems to kick in a strong immune response among younger folks. I wouldn’t get the shot if I was under 40. Some younger people need the shot because they were brainwashed by the media to think they going to die.
If you are like he girl in this video, then by all means get the shot. Then go for counseling. |

I was told by my doctors that since so am a double transplant patient and work in the healthcare field, probably be best if I took. |

Hey if you want to ride out Captain Trips that's your choice if not then get the shot...either way we're all gonna die :syf:

Will probably get the 2nd Moderna shot on the 20th, but I'm having doubts.
First shot on the 23rd of March, fine until mid-morning the next day. Got a slight fever, took 2 Tylenols, it went away. Fever came back at 4pm with a vengeance, didn't take anything (waited for the SO to come home with the thermometer). Fever went up to 103, has a bad headache, and chills for 2 hours. Took 2 more tylenols, and all symptoms disappeared. Took 4 more tylenols during the 2nd day, and was mostly over all symptoms until Monday, last week. Got a nasty cough, and my oxygen level is back down to 89-90 resting. Cough is persistent-mostly due to lack of oxygen, and I got a headache Tylenol won't help. Nurse had told me that "long haulers" may experience adverse reactions to the first shot, While the CDC is blaring reactions mostly after the 2ns shot. What a pile of shit this has become. My Dr., who says he is not an anti-vaxer, told me I probably don't need the shot. "It's a big experiment" is how he said it. Too late, but I don't want to go through the hospitalization again. Wife who is also suffering from long-term effects of covid will not take the shot after seeing the shit I'm going through. Everybody's reaction will be different. Unfortunately, it's bad for me. |

Honestly, the reaction to this by many of those sheeple is crazy... I can't image what they would do if they were faced with a life or death situation... A few years back we went to the WWII Museum in New Orleans and when I read many of the stories about these young men volunteering to go off to war, and the risk they faced it was eye opening. Then you see the youth today, makes you realize how much this country has changed in 75 years... |

I got pfizer first shot, no problems. 2nd on 4/20. |
Wife had some soreness with Moderna. I had J&J and no issues.
|
When I got my second shot after 24 hours, I got a mild headache. After another 6 hours, I started to get some body aches and got a few chills. When it was time to call it a day about 11:00pm, I went to bed still feeling the affects, but when I woke up in the morning, I was fine. All side affects were gone.
