Changes to my Z...lots of pictures
 

A couple of months ago, I traveled to the infamous Tail of the Dragon and cruised the skyway in my 2002 EB ZO6. All went well and was a blast until I got about 25 miles from home and hit a deer. Pictures below...

Well, I took the car to Jamison's Custom Corvette for the repairs and had them spice things up a bit. My wife was very demanding on having my wheels powder coated MATTEd Black, so I had the accents done that way too. Funny thing is, I asked to have them done GLOSS Black and the folks that did the powder coating messed up and did MATTEd Black so I was worried, but it all came out well. Pictures below (all taken during my latest trip back to the mountains for a Memorial Day weekend cruise.

The car is running great, I want to do some suspension upgrades and will probably go the CAM route. Went back tot the tail of the dragon with Terri last weekend, had a blast, we need to get up there together and cruise man! Found a fabulous BBQ place in Waynesville, NC! It was amazing!

Looks great! Glad you saved it from the deer hit.

I had always hoped if I hit a deer in the C5 that it may just slide over the hood and off the back but I guess that's not the case.:leaving:

Thanks. I did what I could to miss it, but the damn thing just kept walking out in front of me and Blammo! I guess it all worked out for the best.

I think it is one the greatest aspects of the ride...I guess you do not want to see my made-at-home exhaust plate.:dance:

Looks bad, like the color and wheels. :seasix: BTW, took the same shot at the overlook on US129 of the Dragon.

I hit one in my C4 and it scooped it off and threw it off. The only it did was shear off the headlamp because i had the lights on. If it wasn't dark it wouldn't have done anything.

I didn't have any of the damage Micah had, other than the light.
