So I got bit by a snake...
 

My brother in law called us as we were leaving for dinner. Expecting black racer...but no. He was a thick mofo, easily 2 inches in diameter. Grabbed him behind neck and tail and he still got me four times. I am not dead. Pretty sure he was non-venomous.

Is the snake your next meal? :D Bite him back?

Two friends are out hunting and Bob needs to take a dump. He hangs his ass over a log and before he knows what happens, a rattlesnake bites him right in the junk. :willy:

He yells to his buddy Jim and tells him what happened. Jim doesn't know what to do so he runs to the closest town and finds a doctor.

The doctor tells him to make an incision and suck out the venom.

Jim runs back and yells to Bob, " I found a doctor".

Bob asks what the doctor said.

The second sign is the inability to distinguish between a venomous and non-venomous snake.

So Craig - thy the heck do you pick up a snake? Just either let it go or get something and whack it dead. No snake is going to be biting me because I tried to pick it up.

Next time just grab a flat shovel and dispatch the culprit. Better safe than venomized.

This is the clown who bit me. Florida Water Snake. About 2.5 to 3' long and nearly 1.5-2.0 inch in girth.

Water snakes here in PA have very bad attitudes. I see their FL cousin have the same "calm demeanor" :issues:

Go to the doctor and get a shot.

Water snakes can be pretty aggressive. Bite is not poisonous but high chances of infection. Best see a doctor about some shots

Washed it aggressively. Leaving on flight at 7:00 am tomorrow. If I die, I die. Had my tetanus shot in the last year. Not that that has dick to do with snakes. :rofl:
