Can I upgrade my fogs?
 

If I wanted to upgrade my fog lights can I just replace the bulb or do I need to replace the whole light?

The reason I ask is that I'm researching changing my headlights to a HID ACA style setup and I'd want everything to match.

Plug and play HIDS fit in with no problem.

You'll want to match the color as close as possible.

Super easy....

Just order up the HID bulb type (and balllast) for your C5 fog light housings. The C5 fog light housings are actually a HID housing already. They give a great light cutoff.

I believe the fogs take an 899 bulb but I'm having trouble finding an 899 HID kit. I found similar 800 numbers but not sure if they will all work.

Type in 899 HID into Ebay, and happy shopping... :)

I've had PIAA 1100's since shortly after I bought the car. I thought they were super bright and white. Once I put the HID bulbs in the stock headlights, they look yellow. It's enough that it makes me want to find a set of stock fogs and put HID's in them.

I can't wait to see how yellow they look when JW's modded ACA lights get here next week. :)
