Let's just say I'm setting up my Medicare benefits now. Actually, I have no biological children because I always relied on my looks and personality for birth control.:D I married a ready-made family when I was in my early 40s. My wife had two kids who were already grown and had moved out. One of them already had two kids. The mother this time is one of those kids. They never really had any contact with their grandfather, so they hung that title on me.

Of course. Nice guy. Working on getting his contractor's license. He's helped me with a lot of stuff around the house.

Congrats man !
Wife and I are going to be first time grandparents in Oct. !
Daughter lost one around 8 months ago but this one seems to want to stay.....so says the doctor.

He was born late last night at 12:08 AM. This is really cool because as I've said in other posts, his dad is of Mexican descent, so his whole family was pulling for a Cinco de Mayo baby. Sort of their equivalent to a July 4th baby. (Yes, they are citizens and their family has been here for many generations.)

What's cool is that in California, Cinco de Mayo celebrations, parades, etc. are common. While he's a small child we can get away with taking him to these events and telling him every one is celebrating his birthday.

My wife was born on Flag Day and her dad used to drive her around town and tell her everyone had their flags out for her birthday.

Mom and baby are well.

My nephew was born on Halloween. He's been in therapy for years.
