Hey James is / was in the house! :hurray:

What's new down south man. Do you still have that hotrod Camaro?:drivingskid:

I spent the day outside, perfect weather for working, sunny and 65F.
I was de-redneckking my new truck last couple of days. Took off the off road noisy BIG tires and wheels (for sale on Kijiji), took off the way too dark window tint...messy job to get the residual glue off the windows.
Took off the redneck stickers like Thrush, Yamaha snow machines, HUGE Chevy bowtie on the back window...:ack:
Replaced the idler brgs and there's still a high pitched whine I need to fix.
Ontario now requires all vehicles to have the standard size wheels and tires to pass a safety inspection. and I guess I'll have to get a cat converter on it too......long gone. Seatbelts have to work as well, and the retractors don't! :toetap:

Nice truck but it's still 25 years old.....:bilmem:

I'm still waking up each day....so that's good! :D

I finally figured out which drug was causing me grief this time. So I stopped that and haven't had any problems so far. BUT, now I need a new one to lower my A1C levels more....that I can live with. Damned if you do and damned if you don't.
I also go for joint assessment (knee) to see if a replacement is warranted. And a new lens in the left eye later this month for a matched pair. Bionic man, that's me!

Speaking of grass....I guess I should get the tractor fired up at the lake....it should be getting pretty long. :ack:

Hey Mr. P......I wasn't sure what was making the racket but I was pretty sure the AC comp. was toast, and a new one is around 250-300$ . I found a bypass like in the pic this morning for 60$ and installed it....that was it. Nice and quiet now. Sounded like it had a blower on it before.

I actually thought you folks up there disconnected them during the spring, fall and winter.

In San Francisco, it's common for people to special order a new car without AC because you really don't need it there. Or at least it used to be common anyway. I don't even know if that's possible nowadays. My brother's stepdaughter once leased a Mitsubishi Eclipse special ordered with no AC when she was going to SF State College. About a month after she got the car she got a scholarship to Arizona State University. It cost my brother a lot of money to get her out of that lease.:yesnod:

Thanks Wendy.....even better this morning than last night. Everything is clearer. I had the first eye lens for distance, and this one slightly less so and I hope that enables me to read without glasses. BONUS!

My old man is 94, and wore glasses all his life until about 25 years ago when he got new lens. Now he reads, and sees distance like a hawk. Doesn't even own any glasses.
