EVs have a long way to go before no longer being the minority on the road.
With that said, eventually we will see advancements in technology where 600+ mile ranges are the norm. Just like we'll see EVs that can drive themselves to an automatic charging station for a top off while you're not using the vehicle. Hell, it won't be long until we see EVs having the ability to share battery power with each other. |
They're not going to make 600 mile commuter cars. Same reason they don't give ICE cars now 30 gallon tanks. The ranges are going to stay around 300 and as battery tech gets more efficient, they will just get smaller and lighter.
