Water was high during the week at the deer camp....so we took off to go rescue the 4wheelers one day.

Yeah its a snapping turtle....I'm guessing 50 to 60 years old.

He had a big gash into his shell like a boat hit him, so we brought him to a vet the next day.
Vet said they would bring him to a wild life management area and release him.
I thought they would bring him to the zoo....guess not. :island14:

yea kerm i am, and doing several doubles throughout the week and working both weekends, planning on slowing down once motgage is done, how are you doing today besides the cold weather?

Slow day at the old homestead. Making apple sauce and resting my knee.....started hurting this morning, and if I don't apply some heat and rest it, it will get really inflamed and I'll be screwed for a week. :(
Doc said I need new knees in the next few years....:cry:

have you tried that stuff Shag promotes, i think its icy/hot supposedly that stuff works, i also have crappy knees usually take 2 Aleves and they ease the pain, sorry to hear your in pain

Thanks Chuck, I'll look that up. Can't take IBs or anti-inflams. (affect my heart) That's why I don't ride much anymore. I need a cruiser with floor boards so I can move them constantly.
