I'm still waiting on your answer to this question: Which nuclear plants are not in service that can be put back into service with "some repairs?"

There's going to be some transmission loss sending electricity from Nevada to Maine, just sayin'. Hell, there's a significant loss just sending unreliable wind power from West Texas to Central Texas, that's just moving intrastate.

Nah. They'll store it in batteries and use electric trucks to haul the batteries to Maine. :Jeff '79:

We won't go from 6% EV to 100% EV in 2 years. It willl take time as well. Grid will grow at the speed as demand grows. It always has.

EV will not be 100% in our lifetime, probably ever.

Diesel is the lifeblood of the world. It’s not going away.

To be fair, look at all the "conspiracy theories" that are now proven true.

Yes, some conspiracy theories turned out to be actual facts. For example, John Wilkes Booth conspired with several others to assassinate President Lincoln. But what is the percentage of conspiracy theories that turned out to be true, and what does that predict for the conspiracy theories about cars?

Sure, used gas cars will still be around when none of us will still be alive. However, I can't imagine that 30 years from now you can still get new gas cars.

At last count, the percent of conspiracy theories I personally have that have proven to be true is something north of 90%. YMMV

I wish they'd focused on the Colorado and Canyon. Scarcer than Hen's teeth, two years in. I blame government.

To believe that you would have to believe that the country will be full on socialist at that point. Because in a capitalist society EV’s will never replace ICE at the scale that you subscribe.

And again, diesel is what moves business and commerce. It’s not going anywhere in the foreseeable future.

Fukushima?

There would need to be power plants around the world to turn fuel into electricity and a grid put in place on top of that. Most of the world is rural, and most of the world will still be rural 50 years from now. The portability of fuel and serviceability of ice engines isn't going to be replaced by wires and unserviceable batteries.

That depends on GSC3's definition of "some repairs." :D

I remember the last time I recall Boeing having the door blown off....it was just a couple weeks ago.

Not at all. A conspiracy, by definition, must involve more than one person. :D

GM managed to kill their first electric car (the EV-1) back in the 90s. If they were smart they'd do it again before they go bankrupt. :yesnod:

No, no, NOOOO! GSC3 says all new cars sold in 20 years will be EV. GM needs to quit selling ICE cars and go all in on EVs. :yesnod:
