So did the Palestinians. They were offered 99% of what they wanted back in the 90's, and they rejected it. So, reap what they sow. Also they sided with Egypt, Syria, and Jordan during the two big ME wars, and lost. Losers of wars, sometimes it sucks.

1. I believe it was a staged question with a well prepared answer.

2. I would prefer to have Isreal as an anny over the Palestinians.

3. I would prefer that the US be a self sufficient, isolationist nation, but that will never happen. It certainly COULD but no one would be willing to pay the price. I mean that literally. Foriegn countries, like drug dealers, have us hooked on cheap goods and like drug addicts, we are not willing to go through the withdrawls and will ultimately OD and die in our current state of dependency.

Personally, both Israel AND Palestine can kiss my ass. They BOTH have spied on, shot at, and have hated the US.
Maybe it is time to step away and let that region sort itself out.
