You fuckin' write in voters... you have no idea how to defend a nation. All you did was weaken a country today, write in voters. That's all you did. You put people's lives in danger. Sweet dreams, folks.

I get your sarcasm there son. No, this was just plain old messing with the primaries like happened in Missouri in 2012 with democrats crossing over and voting for Todd Aiken in the primary because they were herded that way. They had a surprise for Todd.

You really don't think the Dems did not have a whole line up of women accusers against Luther Strange, had he won? This is a winning strategy for them.

They tossed out a couple of sacrificial lambs, Franken and Conyers, who will be replaced by liberal Dems, and they got a big prize, Alabama. You don't think that won't be rinsed and repeated from now on, every.....single....race?

From my seat, Moore got the Repub nomination because he campaigned on his faith. Easy to do in this state. Yeah, that whole separation of church and state thing? Notsomuch here.

However, many still see what he did years ago as his reason for losing. When you swear to protect the Constitution and uphold the law, and you then break that oath and disregard higher court decisions and laws because you don't agree with them, you're gonna get yanked. In his case, he got yanked twice.

That to me tells me he is unfit for public office.

I asked several people I know who profess their faith openly a few questions. One I asked is former military (Army) and has 2 daughters.

As one who took the oath to defend the country against enemies, both foreign and domestic, can you honestly vote for a person who took that oath to uphold and defend the Constitution, yet showed a pattern of thinking himself above that same law?
What if one of Roy Moore's accusers was your wife or one of your daughters?
Would he still be fit to hold office because of him being a good Christian?

Crickets.

The Republicans lost, not because Doug Jones and any kind of movement swept him into office. They lost because their candidate sucked. And no, in the primaries, I did NOT vote for Moore.

Republicans lost Virginia and Alabama because of tainted nominees. The democrats DID learn from the Presidential election. Pedo Moore is equal to crooked Hillary.
Get used to this form of politics. It's about personal character now.

Alabama needs to get some perspective; nothing like a socialist representing them now to provide it.

But personal character has always been a part of the election process. Just now more than ever before with the hyper connected/sensitive social climate.

Let's put this into perspective. Alabama just killed tax reform. Alabama just killed any other legislative action Trump wants. Alabama virtue signaled. MAGA lost.

Moore was a horrible choice. That said, the allegations against him on the sexual harassment front will never be heard from again....
