This is about a gorgeous, talented, high-functioning young lady. Not a short, balding guy with a pornstache. :)

Congrats, Badcad. :seasix:

She is smart AND hard-working.

The hospital rule is you must have three years of nursing experience to get into the CCU floor, they waived for her due to she did her college credits there.

She often takes a 4th 12-hour shift each week, she gets OT for the entire fourth shift, which helps fund her purse collection.

She is in a relationship for over a year, appears to be serious. as she is moving in with him, and he got her a dozen golf lessons.

I would meet you for drinks, no homo thingy, just like your roll and your unsurpassed car knowledge, and your politicis.

That is one lucky young man because she is a winner in addition to her beauty.

My sister lives near you in New Hope, her closet has a second closet for her purses and shoes, many of her purses, and some shoes, appear to have never been taken out of the packaging.

Her husband spoils her, she spoils him, it works well!!

I will, they are not there as much as the past, as travel a lot with their boat.
They love New Hope, left Princeton 15 years ago and never looked back.

BTW, I have dined at Bowman's, great burgers!!

Nurses are special.
Wifey has been a nurse for 35 years, pediatric intensive care.
Middle daugher has been a nurse for 2 years, mothers and babies.
Youngest has been a nurse for 2 years, cardiac care unit.
Oldest daughter is a medical lab worker.
M-I-L was a nurse for 40+ years, retired now, and ignoring all doctor's orders.

My niece is a pediatric ICU nurse as well. VERY caring woman, extremely smart, and excellent people skills. She has found it very rewarding, but with that great reward comes that potential for great heartbreak.

God bless our nurses!

I'm sure in this amount of time, she's seen people die in the hospital, which has to weigh on people after a while. I can't imagine what a rush it would be to know you SAVED a life, right then and there.

"Not today, death......not on my watch."

A guy who I used to ride with made custom motorcycle seats usually HD. He went through a divorce and the judge awarded him her purses worth 10’s of thousands. Probably over 100k.

He cut them all up and used the leather to make seats. :Jeff '79:

You are very accurate!!
She has lost some patients over her first two years.
One was very difficult, as was admitted without life-threatening conditions, took a turn for the worse, died in front of her when the code was unsuccessful.
This really wore on her, she cried for a few days, sleep was difficult.
Patient was younger, had 20-something daughter always at her bedside, daughter was devastated.

I still remember attending my wife's Nurse Pinning Ceremony when she graduated in 1989, we were dating at the time.
The speaker for the ceremony was the dean for the college of nursing, and she told a story that a student once asked her was it normal to cry when a nurse loses a patient.
Her reply was when you stop crying, it is time to stop being a nurse--I will never forget those words.
