The real punch in the nuts will come when a vacinne is developed and started to be put out there, instantly you won't be able to do shit unless ypu have it and a bracelet showing you received it.
Dont want or can't get the vacinne... Enjoy no work or school, possibly not beong allowed in stores.

And for those who do want it, it will be in short supply, and/or ridiculously expensive.

So much truth in that. The wife and I stayed at home about 99% of the time before this pandemic. I talk on the phone with those who actually mean something which is a very few people. Why don't you travel and enjoy, I've been asked a few times. Fukking why? I've got more miles on me than plenty of aircraft. I've spent time in Asia, Europe, South America, and, surprise, surprise, the Middle East. If we were to travel, we'll get to sleep in a bed someone else slept in last night and take a shower cleaned by someone with expertise in hitting a couple of spots and calling it good. Our food will consist of, "I'll try that thing that doesn't look as bad as the other one". Oh joy. Sign me up for more of that shit.

we normally visit my parents each spring and each fall. the spring trip is right around this time. we called that off back in March. we both are in the high risk category, so why add to that with an optional trip. 2 day trip, driving from NM to WY, stopping in Cheyenne, WY overnight. hotel, dinner out.... pass for now.

our fall trip (would maybe include hunting if I drew tags) is likely not going to happen either, so I didn't apply for tags.

we have a nice place on 15 acres in the woods, Mrs. DAB shops once a week for what we need, and I go out once a week to haul water (no interaction with others). things will sort out, and then i'll hit Home Depot again for some supplies for some projects. fixed a rotted door jamb today with Bondo (keep some in stock for such repairs). will touch paint another day.

There are a few things I do like. I'm a car dude so I get to see just about every thing on four wheels. The food variety is extreme. I saw an El Salvadorean place one day during lunch time, was hungry, and gave it a shot. I gave it a shot once....once. On the flip side, in other places I've been, food trucks are here and there. You may see one or two together. Here, there's a place nearby on Friday nights that food trucks take over both sides of the street. There must be 30 or 40 of 'em. Some of 'em are pretty good too.
