Angry Ever had one of those days.......

.... where you feel like you worked your ass off and got nothing accomplished? I am building a new forge and it seemed like everything needed adjusting, resetting, recalibrating, relit, or just worked on before being used. Broke a bandsaw blade, replaced the blade and somehow the entire saw wound up out of alignment. Fixed all that and started welding some tabs o the new forge and ran out of wire. Grabbed the new roll, wrong diameter. Can't find the new tips, get the right wire and tip now I can't find the tabs I made. Found the tabs, welded them on now I can't find the grinding wheels.....................I need a big drink.

Yes. Life in general. Feels like running up a sand dune.

Oh, and post pics of the forge.

I'd throw that piece of shit in the lake! It's always something man, hang in there. Hell, I thought one of my coworkers was going to have an aneurysm over a computer glitch.. Take some pics when you get it all together!

An aneurysm, a drink, or a dip in a lake? Or....all 3?

I will as soon as I get back home. I simply took an old 20-gallon air compressor tank, cut the top off and cut two burner inlets on opposing sides. I will probably stick with my cement and perlite mixture in lieu of any refractory wool. It is cheaper and less hazardous. Gonna be a heavy SOB but that also leaves a good reason to build a hoist to put it in a trailer or the back of the truck. (At least that is what I am telling the wife.)

If you DON'T have days like that, you're not a true DIY-er. And some percentage of those days should require a trip to the emergency room. If you want to be taken seriously.
