So after getting the whole garage and main house reroofed, including complete redecking of main roof , then having the whole house and garage resided and wrapped including new flashing , and the gutter people scheduled for tomorrow to install new gutter and downspouts, we get heavy rain and there are two wet spots on the roof and water coming in our family room

Of course we had just had the family room redone and completed august 17th ( the day our second girl was born)

Now we get to see how good the roof company is to fixing this Ugh , things are never easy with this house.

Get onto it straight away it could be coming in from anywhere up there. Water drips can travel 30 plus feet. Stewy

Maybe you should get up inside your roof if you get a heavy down pour and try and see if you can find the problem. It's very hard to find a leak without a big down pour. Stewy

Can't get up in there. As the ceiling in the family room addition is the roof, although the whole roof was supposed to have ice water laid down then shingles

We'll see tomorrow what can be done.

Good luck mike sounds like you will need it. Robbie the garden hose is most of the time not enough water. There is absolutley nothing worse than a water leak especially on a new roof. I have spend 100's of hours looking to find nothing. Let us know how you go. Stewy
