I am used to driving a Ford f150 Lariat. I am thinking of getting a 4wheel drive Colorado to pull behind a class c motorhome.
Anyone have experience with one. I was thinking of getting a low mileage used 2015 or 2016 sometime next year. As typical with trucks, it does not appear to be a big savings from new to used.
Is the 4 cylinder enough power.
any opinions are appreciated.

pulling a 4wd vehicle can require decoupling "something" in the 4wd system. I forget the specifics... but there was some danger with certain 4wd systems... when doing extensive towing of said vbehicle.
Anyone with the specifics on this concern?

I have the previous generation, 2010 5 cyl 4wd, so I can't comment on the power of the new 4, but I know my transfer case has a neutral feature to allow for flat towing, I've never done it but I've seen several in tow behind motorhomes
I've had great luck with mine and as for size, I'm 6'2 200 lbs and it fits me great. I've never owned a full size truck, 3 S10s and 1 Colorado, so I'm used to the smaller trucks

If you have to ask if it's underpowered.....you know deep down inside that it is and you'll never be happy watching mail trucks leaving you in their dust at every street light and stop sign.

I have opted to get the v6 when and if I get one. I will need to possibly launch a boat or pull a trailer with something on it. I need a tow package.

I just got back from Washington State where I was chauffered around in a straight 6 Colorado all week. My brother doesn't tow with it and does not tow it.
It can beat a mail truck though...
