Good thing. Didn't Hitlery put all the coal miners out of work? Or promised to do so?

Coal has gone up in price again this year due to the f*ckwad and company in the whitehouse. :cuss:

Coal, that is still an option for home heat? :D Seriously though I don't know anyone with the option anymore, is it an outdoor furnace like the big wood burners? I worked for several years in the electrical generation business at a coal fired power plant and what a dirty process, but that was in the days before "clean coal" :)

Why buy heating oil if you're burning coal?:leaving:

I have the option to burn coal. Plus it's much easier to "turn" the thermostat than to stoke the fire twice a day and deal with the ashes.

Negative on the clinkers. Once we got a vac u stack installed, we get a complete burn and all that is left is ash.

To get coal around here, you just about have to walk the tracks and gather up what fell out of the coal cars.

Interesting, I never knew some inserts allowed coal.

Man, I'd be extra nice to you around Christmas if I was family. Lump of coal in the stocking for real! :ohnoes:

Cool coal setup, never seen one like that. :seasix:

Thanks for the update and it helped remind me to go out later this month and stock up on sun tan lotion for the winter. It goes on sale once the kid are back in school.
