VW's Touareg V10 TDI is a pretty rare bird, a 309 HP diesel, and used ones go in excess of 40K$ (article said 80K:skep:) so you can imagine the owner watching this rescue after it got away from him and went over the edge of this hill.

Be surprised......many an autobody guru out there, takes 2-3 cars and makes one out of them, title to the one that is clear......

the guy that fixed my vette showed me how it was done, amazing....

but like anything else, it depends on the $$$ for the carcasses, and the T&E to make one right out of the parts pile.....

They were expensive new. There are a couple of used ones in MA/NH area for $12k-$15k
