I just realized

It's been a little over one years since we moved to Florida full time. So far so good.

Plus factors are great weather ( even the summers have not been bad), golf three days a week. And Much more active social life. And the Vette is my DD. :hurray:

Down side is our Daughter is still up north. Only get to see her 4-5 times a year now. Son is Still in Ft Lewis. First grandchild is due in September and he plans on leaving the army in April and going back to NH. At least the kids, and grandchild, will be in the same time zone.

Once my Daughter gets married in June 2017 we can spend more time traveling and visiting. Maybe even get a summer rental up north for a month or so.

Otherwise life is good.

We are so looking forward to moving to Amelia Island. We were at the house last week working with contractors and doing some work ourselves to get it ready to rent out for a year. On Wednesday the property management company we signed with showed it to three different couples and by the next day they had two that were ready to sign a lease. We went with a retired couple who are going to build a new house in the area and need someplace to live while that is going on. Our goal is to move down there by Thanksgiving next year.

Even though it was pretty warm it wasn't any hotter or more humid than it is in Saint Louis right now.

We'll be in FL this Winter again. May be able to drive across to catch up with you. We got a nice little place right on the Caloosa and a lift for our boat.

If you're in the area at the time we'll be doing our annual Super Bowl party there too. BBQ by the pool. :cert:

Winters in Florida are great. And, yes it gets hot, but in 61 years I have never had to shovel heat.
