Who takes Ambian ?

I did for a few years,wife said I did weird crap but I think she's trying to gas light me.....{wonder how many will get that reference}....Anyway I just stopped taking it cold turkey,Doctor told me he was surprised I didn't have any problems. It worked great but again wife kept preaching about all the horrors she would read on the interweb......easier to stop than keep hearing her.

My friends doctor told her to stop taking it and take Somapure .....not sure about spelling.....seems to work for her. So anyway just wondering if there are any horror stories out there.:wow:

I took it regularly for about a year or two. Never had any problems, except being somewhat addicted to it. Pretty easy to quit it, though. The wife had middle of the night eating episodes on it. Like waking up in the morning and finding three microwave popcorn bags in the kitchen and all the popcorn had been eaten.

This was back when it was prescribed in 10 mg doses, but I broke them in half. I have some now in 5 mg doses and take it once a week when I have to get up at 4:30 for my volunteer job at the hospital. Not habit-forming for me when taken once a week. it was when I took it daily. Started to lose it's effectiveness, too.

How is that stuff on the market with a disclaimer that basically says, "If you take Ambien, you might sleepwalk and kill people and have no memory of it"?
