I suppose a middle-aged man on a Geezer Glide is a bit of a cliche'. But if you're gonna have one, especially a 20 year old version, it may as well be detailed. 'To the rolling barkalounger Batman!

The forward foot pegs look like chromed Budweiser cans.

The photo itself looks like it came out of a 20 year old HD ad. Nice work, both on the detailing and on the picture itself. You don't get brown spots on the whitewalls? I can't seem to get my white walls nearly that clean.

Westley's Bleche White or whatever the current version is. I think they were bought out by Black Magic.

It usually takes a couple applications depending on how dirty they get.

Coworker Jim just picked up this for $3200. Oh, the picture is AFTER 10 hours of detailing.

3.2 grand??? bullshit......32 GRAND is more like it......I chickened out on a super nice bike like that for 13 GRAND back about 18 years ago, and have regretted that decision ever since for many a long list of reasons....

$3200.00 seems extremely cheap. How many miles?

Evo powered, and even many twin cam bikes are getting dirt cheap. I sold my twin cam Lowrider last year and have been riding a '94 FXSTC which I like better just because of how it looks. It is slow, handles like shit (lowered about 2" in the rear)...but it sounds like a Harley should running 1 3/4" drag pipes, and it just looks bad ass!!! Thomas, your couch on wheels is looking good!:seasix:

Good looking FL, but I'd lose the fairing lowers & white walls.

That's kind of the point of a bike like this. I don't want a Street Glide.

I'm leaving on a 2week, 5500 mile trip tomorrow on mine. The only bike I have ever had that I can ride 600 miles on, day after day after day.

It will never be mistaken for a Street Glide, were the lowers and whitewalls to disappear. Trust me, it won't.

Since the redesign of the fairing on the Road Glides, I have really warmed up to them. I still want to wait until HD comes out with a new motor since the TC is long in the tooth and is bound to be replaced with something else pretty soon. They need to build something that will at least keep up with the Victory's.:yesnod:

Here's my take on this-
I like my stripped down no bag, no shield Softail. I fully intend on keeping it this way.

When I want touring kinda feel, I'll hop on the Geezer. If I only HAD one sled? I think it'd be a Deluxe or Road King.

Incidentally, I ordered this Corbin for my FXSTC. Should look good with the burgundy paint.

I forgot to check.:slap: It's a 98 Road King Classic. Guy's wife wanted him to get a HD so they could go riding together. After a few rides she decided it wasn't for her. That's why ( and it was a bit dirty ) it went for cheap.

I really like the whitewalls, but I know I wouldn't keep up with the cleaning on them. I don't have lace wheels either which would make them pop more.

I've been thinking about getting a bigger bike so I can drag the wife on a few cruises. I like my little Japanese 4 banger but like you said it's only a bar hopper.

Bitch is I'm also looking at another boat so it'll have to wait.

I had a Corbin Gunfighter on my old Springer Softail. The only thing I didn't like about it was the post for the back rest. The way you sat on it made that damn thing feel like a piece of rebar trying to drive its way up your spine. I changed over to drag bars to change my seating position which helped. The seat was damn nice though and well constructed.
