Last night I dreamed I died

Scary as shit. I actually felt it in my chest when it happened and I was seeing my mom and screaming a blood curdling scream that could not be heard. I screamed and screamed and screamed until I woke up. I seriously, in the dream, thought I was genuinely dead and no one could hear my screams.

Has anyone else dreamed they died? I am actually not looking forward to falling asleep tonight.

yikes. i havent dreamed that, but i have dream about getting bit by a shark
and i woke up screaming with my calf cramping RIGHT where the dream shark
bit me...

i also dreamt i ate a giant marshmallow once, and when i woke up i couldnt find
my pillow...i thought i ate it. luckily it had fallen to the floor. that was scary as hell.

Carl Sagan had said that dreams are a way for your body to get rid of unwanted trash...think of it as a cleaning of files on your computer.

There have been a lot of changes in your life recently, and in a way, an aspect of your life has died. Perhaps your subconscious is just attempting to purge itself of some of those things.

I have had dreams where I should have been dead but I either a)started breathing under water b) flapped my arms and started flying or c) kicked the crap out of whatever was trying to eat me. My wife wakes me up about once a month because I am kicking her in my sleep............at least she thinks Im sleeping. :leaving:

dying isn't that scary, but dying before you finish renovating the kitchen as you had promised your wife, that was scary.
