Happened on Friday. Some asshole mexican in a blue Ford Ranger swiped two boxes from my front doorstep.

My security cameras caught the crime, will be filing a report with the LAPD today.

I HATE THIEVES.

Fortunately, the contents of the packages were either Dog Food and/or Plastic Bags and Honey from my Mother In Law in Virginia, nothing overwhelmingly valuable.

I can text a vid if you are so inclined, PM me your cell number so you can see said asshole god damned son of a bitch prick mother fucing cocksucker.

Homies from Van Nuys or Panorama?

Blue Ford Ranger sort of in a Stake Bed Arrangement with the 'paneling' painted the same color on the sides. Looks like a junk/gardening truck.

I have a weird feeling that I am going to encounter that piece of shit, be a great opportunity to get the license number. Hell, I might even approach them and ask if they do junk removal, get a name and phone number and deliver it to the LAPD.

I'm on a mission from God right now, and I'm in the mood to bust some balls. :yesnod:

UPS and Fed Ex drivers are supposed to be trained - to detect thieves following them around to all their stops... and call the police.

It would be fun to get some of those exploding dye packs that banks use
I can just imagine the thief jumping in his car with the package. Hopefully he is anxious to see what he scored and decides to open it while still in his ride. KABLAM! Purple dye everywhere

Geeeeez man, sorry to hear about your stuff being stolen. Being ripped off is one of the most frustrating things that can happen in life. :issues:

Glad it wasn't valuables though. Hope you find that old blue truck rolling around town.

Yeah I like the die better than the poop, but the poop would be free. You could also mix in some vomit from a beer drinking episode that included eating a whole lot of Taco Bell.

I like the exploding dye idea. :D Unfortunately, you'd probably get sued by the guy. :cuss:

Filed a Police Report with the nice Officer at the Devonshire Division LAPD this afternoon. He told Heather and I that there have been several of these lately, and a Detective will be getting in touch with us. I also provided him with a Flash Drive containing videos of the entire incident. :seasix:

Including an IED in the package would solve that problem. Just sayin'.

1. Eat at Taco Bell.
2. Take liquid dump in coffee can
3. Place dye bomb in coffee can with earlier deposit
4. Watch HD video of results

My neighbors on either side of me and I have a little cooperative going. If we see a package on each other's doorstep and we know the person isn't home, we grab it and then send a text to let them know. I've got a package in my living room now waiting for Kristen to get back from Indiana. My other neighbor Paula is an Interior Designer and works out of her home, so she gets a lot of packages.

any time I'm expecting a package and can't be home for it, I go online and have it held at the depot, and pick it up on the way home from work. ez pz.

My wife has been doing the "Blue Apron" meal delivery thing. I have my neighbor throw them in our garage fridge if we aren't home. We pay her with wine.

We use Blue Apron and Peach Dish. Overflowing with garlic now. Every damned meal that requires a clove... they send us a full head of garlic!!!

Time for a few loaves of garlic bread!

We have the same arrangement. We were headed out of town a few weeks ago and our Amazon shipment came after we left. Neighbors picked it up and held it for us. Good neighbors are essential!

We have lots of stuff delivered here at the house, when we know we'll be home or at least not out of town. But we also have a UPS Store account where we have (mainly) wine shipped to so in case we're not home to sign for it, at least it won't sit in a hot (or freezing) warehouse. It's nice and comfy in the UPS Store. We also have stuff shipped there when we'll be out of town for awhile. Plus it's only about 1.5 miles from our house.

The old codger next door to me looks out for everyone on the block. Says if he sees anyone messing around someone's place he'll only use the shotgun so he won't make too big of a hole in anyone's trailer.:seasix:
