I'm pissed !
Between the Secret Service lollygagging on the job and the FBI dropping the ball on the latest mass shooter, I'm pissed !!
It's bad enough that the scum was taken off of the watch list twice on Hill's watch,
Now it comes out that the gun store owner, who denied the shooter from buying body armor, CALLED THE FBI on him!!!
:wtf: are these morons doing to protect this country?
And they want to restrict and take away our ability to protect ourselves???? :spdchk:
Wake THE FK UP AND DO YOUR JOBS!!!

My wife read this to me from FB yesterday.
How many mass shootings were stopped by people who legally carry? ZERO !!
Really? No sh!t !
Mass shooters go for places where law abiding citizens aren't allowed to carry, aka soft targets.
This is the sort of BS rhetoric that's out there right now.
People believe anything...:shots:

A person who legally carries and uses his weapon is putting everything he owns on the line. If his bullets hit an innocent party and wounds, kills or paralyzes them, he will have a civil lawsuit against him.
Also the government might have a criminal lawsuit against him if they feel he acted irresponsible.
The store owner didn't know the person's name but had store video on him. Too bad they didn't ask to see picture ID and get his name to give to the FBI. The store owner is a retired COP.

Hmmm, let's see.. Live to see another day?.... and civil lawsuit. I'd take the chance to live.
First I'd flee if possible.
If not, I'd take the best defensive position possible, and wait for a shot, if my life depended on it.
I'm not there to save the world, just myself and family.

Ditto, I agree.
Why not just shutter the FBI?

12 Times Mass Shootings Were Stopped by Good Guys With Guns (http://controversialtimes.com/issues/constitutional-rights/12-times-mass-shootings-were-stopped-by-good-guys-with-guns/)

One of the problems with the "terrorist watch list" and the "No Fly list" is that it's very easy to get on them.
All you have to do is piss off a TSA agent and they add you to the list. Then if thy misspell your name someone else gets on it.
In 1964 LBJ asked my father to rejoin the USMC and go to vietnam. After careful review ( it was a great deal) he found out about LBJ's micromanagement of the war. Se he wrote back :
Dear Mr President,
Go F**k yourself.
Sincerely
JJH 1st Lt USMC (Ret)
He only found out in 1967 when he got his paperwork to be released from the fleet reserves.
When we have Secret lists of people who are citizens who have no knowledge of the lists and not recourse to get off those list they can and will be used for and by politicians to push thier agenda.
In the case of the Orlando shooter if he was a White redneck who made those statements at the Oil clean up site, Court house or guard shack he would have been fired and lost his G level license and most likely his CCW license. The Lotu gun works issue is the last in a long line of failure by our government to protect us due to PC and agenda driven policies of the current administration.

The gun shop owner did call, but it's my understanding that he was not able to provide the FBI with a name. The surveillance video was too grainy to identify anyone.
I think there were red flags missed, specifically with regard to the shooter having been interviewed a couple of times. However, if we're going to have a fair discussion, it's important to make sure the facts are all there.

Todays FBI is nothing like what had up till about a decade ago.
Used to be that the upper echelon of the FBI were lifelong law enforcement types; with years of field experience under their belts. They knew the real world; often clashing with any political involvement of the departments operation.
Nowdays, they are 3 piece suited "double doctorate" degree types... who bring nothing much more to the table than being political appointees.

Gun Store Owner: We Alerted FBI to 'Suspicious' Customer Weeks Before Orlando Shooting - ABC News (http://abcnews.go.com/US/orlando-shooter-turned-gun-store-suspicious/story?id=39901107)

Seems we hear that a lot. Too much, in fact.

let me interpret... with specifics to the Orlando shooting...
"Out of fear of alienating a large block of voters, this Muslim/Islam/(fill in blank) was given a waiver. "
In other words, only 49 gays were sacrificed... to keep the votes flowing in. When will the gays wake-up and realize the 21st century Democrat party does not "have their back"
oh, they (the gays) are waking up. right quick too.
the democrats have all of them penciled in as sure votes. the same democrats want to take away their rights to defend themselves. ummm..... that does not compute.

Get real. Those gay votes are in the bag for Hillary. Don't expect a huge expansion of the Log Cabin Republicans, or even of the Libertarian Party.
The fight for gay marriage and bathroom free-for-alls is more important than the cognitive dissidence of supporting candidates that seek to import hundreds of thousands of immigrants that think just like the Orlando shooter and his father. The gays remember the Pubs anti gay marriage stand, and they will block vote against them, even if Trump himself said he wasn't running on that issue and didn't care where they pee.

their (and their partners) lives.
well; that's what they will be saying - if casting a vote in Nov. for a Democrat.

making the same mistake as the democrats made in November of 1980... assuming they had the "union" vote all sewn up.

I'm not convinced that the FBI's "blunders" are it's fault. I think it comes from the Obama administration to go easy on Muslims.

When you get dragged through the mud and sued because you investigated a privileged minority, you tend to not give a shit. Put a touch on a Muslim = rascism according to the White House.

What is the break down on this statistic?
4% are justified. That's 1,280
Also if the shooter is stopped before killing 4 people it doesnt go against the mass murder count (now) right?

This may be time for an underground "justice" group to just start doing what the system won't. Doling out death penalties. If any of them get caught, they can simply say they are "lone wolves".

Wasn't there a movie like this called "The Star Chamber" w/Michael Douglas?
