Took it in to have the carbs rebuilt, fluids changed etc.
As much as I hate paying somebody to do what I can do myself, I just don't have the time I used to.
Really nice to have her back and took a little cruise this afternoon.
Hard to believe she's 31 years old. Still only 6800 miles

My first street bike in 1995. I bought it with 2k miles on it for $2500. I wish I kept it.

Something very familiar about that bike.... can't quite place it. :D
My first one I bought in '96 from my Uncle. Very low miles and I regretted selling it. That's why I shopped this one out for a long time to find a clean/unchopped original.
Damn comfy little cruiser and with 92 hp @ 500 lbs it gets you down the road.
Really miss the 4 cylinder bikes. I test drove a few V Stars and the like 10 years ago and was amazed at the lack of torque.

Those and the Honda Magnas were great bikes. I sold mine in 2000 when I lived in Gettysburg.

Good to hear they did a good job. :cool1:
I can confirm that his bike runs well and looks great. We did a short ride last year.

I have 2 new tires for my bike sitting in my kitchen. They haven't magically mounted themselves yet

Depending on tire size versus rim, sometimes it's money well spent to have the cycle shop change them. :yesnod:

Sportbike sizes...now way I'm doing it. Just have to get the wheels and tires to the shop

Dumped my first Maxim in '99. Had an old CB650 before that. Ole pig was a good runner once you got the electrical bugs worked out. :Jeff '79:

:iagree: That's my 1993 Kawasaki ZR 1100 with normal size tires. I changed one set and took the next set to the cycle shop.
