I remember when Road&Track did a four-page interview with Jay about his car collection, some time in the early 90's. He had just bought his '86 Countach QV, and had been famously daily driving this same Espada all over LA for years at the time. I had never heard of him, but he instantly became a hero of mine. This is the car I think of first when I think of Jay's collection...

That actually might be the very car that a neighbor of mine sold to Jay back in the day. :yesnod:

I'll ask him the next time I see him, and tell him to check this out. I know that he sold a 4 seat Lamborghini to Jay back in the 80's, this has to be it. The neighbor in question is a man probably in his late 60's. Owns a 65 Big Block Vert and a 65 Impala SS Vert, both cars are choice. A very nice man that was heavily involved with the SOCAL racing scene back in the 60's. He was a test track driver for Shelby in the AC days believe it or not. Cool dude for sure.

Somebody at Ford in the early 70s was a Lambo fan. I look at that car and see a white arrow stripe down both sides and hear Starsky and Hutch theme music.

Knowing a little about old Lambos, the blinker likely comes on by itself and can't be shut off.
