Heading to Georgia from Indiana this week. Anything I need to know concerning I-75? A coworker mentioned and avalanche on I-75 a couple weeks ago. He was not talking about a Chevrolet.

I won't be going with him. Someone has to watch the critters.

Remember this... most people on I-75 are blind, crippled or crazy, and the speed limit is "don't get run over". Drive defensively.

Add in most seem to think the right lane is for passing not the left.

At least the breakdown lane is mostly off limits unlike New Jersey....

Lol True.

I remember in 98 when I had to move down to Warner Robins, Ga. And had my first encounters with 75 there. It was nuts when I had to head up to Atlanta. Was definitely the worse, scariest driving I'd encounter up until that time. That's when I learned that it was right lane to pass not left. Lol

That's because other people think the left lane is for cruising at 5 over, while yapping on their cell phones.

How is that different from other Interstates?

Georgia has a fine called Super Speeder for speeders going over 15mph over the limit and they strictly enforce it. It's a 200$ extra fine on top of the regular fine.....

When did they lower it to 15 over? Was 20 over.

Well I can understand that. But this was just general driving. It was like it was backwards.

Yup, slowed me down. I had one last good road trip in the Vette just before it passed. Made it from Atlanta to Tampa in under six hours, one tank of gas. cruise was set on 89 most of the way. It was to work on a fun condo project named...

...Trump Tower Tampa...:leaving:

You will know. It has a different insanity about it.

I always found I-75 in Georgia to be more sane than I-65 in Indiana. Or maybe 65 just has more stupid drivers.
