Noted the FB thread about the peanutz and the squirrels.....and the pix of the sprouting nutz in your glove......

DO the squirrels bury them around your yard?? dig holes ~4" deep and leave a mound of dirt beside the holes?? Linda started feeding the squirrels out front, and so I have been blaming armadillos for the digging, but surely the sheer # of holes is ASStounding this season, Chuck next door swore it was the tree rats, not 'dillos'......

and SO, just setting and tanning in the PM I have noted the tree rats digging up the lawn.....

I THINK you been feeding them peanutz also...right??

it's not just our lawn either, but many a lawn around us.....

No. They don't dig very large holes and they generally cover their stuff up after burying. Linda started feeding the squirrels out front, and so I have been blaming armadillos for the digging, but surely the sheer # of holes is ASStounding this season, Chuck next door swore it was the tree rats, not 'dillos'...... I haven't seen the squirrels dig large holes. At least not the squirrels around here.

it's not just our lawn either, but many a lawn around us..... I have never found anything buried (by a squirrel) in my lawn. Mostly my flowerbeds and occasionally my flowerpots. I don't thinks it's the squirrels that are digging up your lawn.

FB is getting to be a PIA, just now it took this overprogrammed/beleaguered machine about 15 minits to recover from some damn 'page' that linked onto some conservative group or other on FB, and tried to cram crap onto the machine.....and a script prompt shows up.....what ever THAT means....

takes the machine a long time to reboot for some reason, even though I kill the power for about 30 seconds.....

and pull the WIFI chip upon boot up .....
