This young beer has a day he won't forget

ah yes, he had just escaped the confines of the keg, was settling down to his new home in the chilled mug,

when up strode an exhausted looking, rumpled lawyer with a lovely southern twang. "Beer" he drawled.

and the young beer got shoved toward this legal beagle.

"cool" the beer thought, "i have a new friend, a smart looking lawyer".

then disaster struck. the lawyer picked up the mug and started to drink the beer!

"gah!, he's going to drink me!"

and before the beer could say another word, he had turned into a burp.

but yet, the beer could still hear what was going on, and the lawyer said,

"give me another beer. i've had a long day talking to a jury, trying to get my client off. i was reduced to telling them that you couldn't tell which way the train went by looking at the tracks. i think they bought it."

and so the new beer shortly had company.

Speaking of beer, I finished cutting the lawn, and sat on the front step for a few minutes, chatting with the wife and playing with the dog. Wife went into the house and a minute later brought me a glass of ice water. I would have preferred beer.
