Where your life is just at that point of stress where you know that the next muthafracker that crosses you is going to end up in a wood chipper?
Yeah....I'm at that point. The point where if something GOOD finally fracking happened I would stroke out.
Sorry just needed to get that out there.

After about 20 years of it, you get numb. BTDT.

Yeah ... I've been there ....
Thankfully, I live a pretty stress-free retired life now ... but I remember very stressful times where both work issues and family issues made me feel the walls were closing in around me.
ANYTHING you can do to practice stress management is helpful ... google it - and try a few things.
Believe it or not, sometimes (for me) just sitting peacefully - and concentrating on happy peaceful thoughts - and breathing in and out slowly ... helped me a lot.
Of course even better is to remove or avoid the stressing situations but that is not always possible ...
Good luck to you ....

Fortunately, I haven't had any real bad times in my life, compared to some.
I am, however, glad that I stopped by for the thread save pic above. :hurray:

Yep, between work, and family illnesses and my own illness and too much stuff to get done around the house that never seems to end to drivers on the road and people that seem oblivious to the country being in delcine.. it can get to you for sure. Im sure Id feel better if I could punch more people in the nose but that seems to draw alot of negative attention these days. Thank God for my wife.

Madmikeee, I wish I could be of some help, but I'm starting to think that it's just the way life goes.

One thing I've learned: No matter how bad you've got it; someone's got it worse.
Sometimes that's the only reality-check that keeps it all in perspective for me.

QFT...
Just the skinny, Wife has Rheumatoid Arthritis and Soriatic Arthritis, Son is Autism Spectrum, Mother has Muscular Dystrophy and is wheelchair bound AND where she lives is a nightmare, Father in law recently died suddenly, Sister in law's husband cheated, girl he cheated with and her husband showed up to my father in laws wake, her husband found out the next week, Sister in law's husband has now been caught again communicating with said girl and had been working with divorce lawyer behind her back (We assume once the lawyer told him he was Fcukd that is why he decided to try and save the marriage. Add all of that into the fact that I am working a full time job and am about to start an addition to the house to get my mother out of the place she lives.
Yeah...

Brother, I've been there. Always remember, you can handle whatever comes your way.
If you ever need to talk, yell, or bounce some thoughts off someone, call me. I may not be the smartest person you know, but I can listen. :seasix:

To those thankful for your spouses, you have no idea how fortunate you are. When i felt like snapping, my wife was my go to person and eventually she didn't want to diffuse anymore and became a contributor. If you all have that kind of support, you are blessed.
