Hopefully.... :shots:

I finally got this.

http://www.amazon.com/Pioneer-Ductless-INVERTER-Conditioner-208~230/dp/B00D9ZKC8I?ie=UTF8&psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=od_aui_detailpages00

18,000 BTU, 220v, 15 Seer thingy.

I got it On Monday, read the installation directions on Tuesday, and started the install on Wednesday and finished up today. An hour or two a night after work for three nights, two hours on Saturday and 20 minutes today to snug up the four refrigerant lines.
Tomorrow morning the A/C guy will come and vacuum it, check for leaks, and fire it up. :ohnoes:
Hopefully it's all good.

Here is the interior unit where the a/c or heat blows out

I plumbed it into the front closet and as soon as the a/c guy leaves and everything is verified ok, I'll clean that up

I had a 220A line run

The condenser is inside an enclosed screen porch thingy so it's out of the weather but will still breath freely.
Welp. I'll let you know if it works when the a/c guy leaves tomorrow

:funnier: :funnier:

Looks good to me. Just as long as that condensation line doesn't kink up. :D

18k BTU should run pretty efficiently too.

No kinks. That was really my main concern but the copper bent nicely. The bend at the floor was the tricky one so I just had someone on the outside pull slowly while I bent them as they fed through the 2½" hole.
Kinks and the 4 refrigerant line connections are where things can go wrong, so we'll see tomorrow how I did. I think I'm good to go though. Fingers crossed.

The a/c guy's gauges are standard and the unit itself is metric, but his metric gauges are on his other truck, so he's coming back later.
Oh well, whats a few more hours...

It works perfectly!

The guy said the install looked great.
So all tolled, it cost $1490.00.
The a/c guy said that if he were to do the complete install, it would have cost $900 just for his labor.
I love saving me the money ! :ball:

How much did he charge you for the final hookup?

I put one of those in my shop last year (although it was a much cheaper Chinese knockoff brand). The first company I called quoted me $600 just to make the final connections. :willy:

I finally found a guy to do it for $200.
