I ran across this today while looking at a website that the author of the books has up showing his treatment for necrotizing fasciitis.

Warning, do not go here if you are squeemish, I'm not and I nearly puked. No Moods, Ads or Cutesy ****ing Icons (Re-reloaded) » Moving Pictures. (http://www.rifters.com/crawl/?p=1848)

Anyway while recovering from the dry heaves I saw his links for the PDF files for all his books. I went to the link and downloaded one just to check it out. It is a really good read, I guess I will eventually download all of them and read them. Maybe I might even buy a couple of them. If he is foolish enough to trust folks, then I guess I'm foolish enough to pay him for the books. Although I bet he'd rather have you donate on his website, that way he'd get more than a few cents a copy through the publisher.

Anyway to the free stuff.

You will see 4 book cover icons, the 1st 3 are a series, the 4th one is a stand alone novel. Just click on any or all of them and download the PDF.

Everything is under the Creative Commons License.

Anyway, I think I like the guys writing, I also like the fact that he is a Canuckistanian that can't come back in the USA. He got into it with the Border Guards and ended up tazed, pepper sprayed and in jail.

Amazing how they speed up the healing process with that packing foam looking stuff. Amazing photos.

Oh yeah, now I gotta go back and check the books out... :leaving:

I had an accident and used the same type of machine in an attempt to save my leg. When they attempted to remove the machine I went south quick and had to go back to it within a day or two.

Pictures reminds me of my accident but my leg looked much worse than those you linked to, image what a big tree can do to a leg. I ended up loosing my leg, but that machine saved my life.
