SANDY SPRINGS, Ga. — Two women have been arrested after 38 cats were found living inside their minivan.
Sandy Springs police tell local media that a concerned citizen recently flagged down officers and informed them of a van filled with many cats.
Tom Poorman of Fulton County Animal Control says officers ended up finding 38 cats living inside the vehicle, including tiny, days-old kittens inside a cup holder. He says conditions in the minivan were filthy.
The women who own the minivan are mother and daughter. Police learned that the women had outstanding warrants and arrested them. They were also violating their probation by owning animals.
The 38 cats will eventually be up for adoption through the Fulton County Animal Shelter after receiving veterinary care.

You know, you could use a few playmates for your new cat......just sayin.'
(I'm talking about the cats, not the two women, BTW.)
They were also violating their probation by owning animals.
They've made a habit of this sorta thing, apparently.

Yup.
In fall 2014, FOX 5 told you how authorities searched through trash and filth in their Dunwoody home on Atcheson Lane, to rescue 70 cats. The women were arrested for animal cruelty.

There were pics on the local news. I have the decency to refrain from posting them here. :leaving:

The cats looked pretty healthy. I can only imagine how that van smelled.
