That is what frustrates me so much. All these DC Animated Originals are fan-phukin'-tastic and yet, they can't make a live-action movie that works all the way through.

Indeed. As far as I'm concerned Conroy and Hamill are the definitive versions of Gotham's gladiators.

IMO, the only actor that could play Joker in this is Hamill. For me he is the benchmark, the yardstick by which all other Jokers are measured.

Batman Begins and The Dark Knight are their best efforts thus far, IMHO.

That's because Nolan had the clout to tell WB "you get the movie you get and you'll like it."

I'm hoping Affleck can bring more of the brilliant detective out in the solo Batman film.

We have yet to really see that on the silver screen.

I have high hopes for the Batfleck movie... just wish they could get it out before the Justice League thing...
