I did what you suggested on the SS this weekend. I put a coat of Z-5, a layer of Sonax and then topped it with the Kenotek detail spray. WOW.
I did use the spray the other day before it rained, DAMN, that stuff is the Bomb!! I had little tiny beads of rain on the car and after the downpour it looked like my car had not seen rain.
The paint is very smooth and deep right now. I'd take a picture but my arms and back are too sore from cleaning the car.

Some Like it Hot Red Metallic, great color changes even more in the full sun.
