Too bad that video is better than his real campaign of contradicting himself and alienating most of the women, and ethnic voters. He should have hired them for his media spots.

Is this a fair statement?: Cruz, Hillary, and Bernie have done far more than Trump has about contradicting themselves. Hillary, in particular, has flat-out lied, and Cruz has obviously flip-flopped on Immigration and the 2nd Amendment. The difference is that voters don't mind that Trump sometimes contradicts himself.

Contradictions are different from lies. I can't recall Trump having LIED about anything...

Sure makes you think about the lack of any single good candidate y'all have to choose from...:(

I know enough about Justin Trudeau to know he's just like his old man, Pierre
who was PM when I emigrated from Canada. Both libtards with libtard policies..
He wants open doors for more muslims just like our idiot in charge.

Good luck with that... Both our countries are screwed.

I'm not voting for Trump, because he says what's on his mind...and it's often idiotic.

Yeah talking like a brazen a-hole is a great asset.

That's true, but he's OUR brazen a-hole.

When you've got a skunk in your attic, you don't care what kind of truck the animal trapper drives, you don't care if the animal trapper stinks, chews tobacco, or swears like a sailor.....you just want someone who will get the damned skunk out of your attic.

Great analogy actually. You hire an animal trapper to trap an animal, not a dentist.

Actually to some extent I do care.

I also want I also want someone who is what he claims to be, quotes me a price to do it and sticks to that quote. I don't want some pretender who then wants to "make a deal" with me later on the cost of his services.

Trump doesn't need to negotiate at all to set the policy on NOT importing Muslim refugees from the war zones. He also doesn't need to negotiate to get the new official US policy to be, "yeah, if we catch you here illegally, we detain you and ship you back." That doesn't happen in the city of Houston, Pasadena, or many other cities in our area. They get caught driving with no DL, no insurance, no papers, and not only get let go, but they are allowed to drive away. Trump can withhold federal funds from cities that choose to do that, to effectively punish sanctuary cities that flout the newly enforced but existing federal laws against being here illegally.

He will need the help of Congress in other areas, though, like building the wall, and approving the better trade deals he will negotiate.

Cybercowboy

and approving the better trade deals he will negotiate.

Speaking of trade deals, wasn't Ted Cruz one of the sponsors of the TPA, the legislative vehicle that allowed the TPP to come into being? I do believe he was. Then he voted against it once it was sure to pass and his vote didn't count, and said he did it because McConnell "lied to him" about some really unimportant detail, attempting to give himself cover for disavowing what had became a very negative deal at least as viewed by most Republican voters who knew about it. Pretty sure that was him, he's a mess sometimes. Yup, it was him. Yup.

And now that he's gone full Social Justice Warrior over poor Michelle Fields, rushing in like a white knight to save her from the evil Cory who moves people with his hand like one would transport a captured ISIS member to his waterboarding, he's got that going for him. Sure does.

And wasn't Cruz supposed to be a Washington outsider who would never be liked by the GOPe/RNC because he's such a staunch conservative that he'd never cheat on his wife with five women and be on that DC Madame's customer list (blaming this leak on Trump when he knew it was the Rubio camp that shopped it), and yet he's now running around with Ryan and Walker and Priebus and all the good ol' GOPe folks like it's old boy's club?

But that's OK, because if Cruz gets the nomination, there's absolutely no way Hillary would release the coup de gras over the cheating scandal roughly around, oh, October 15th or so. Nah.

Cybercowboy
04-04-2016, 5:39pm
So it's your assertion Cruz cheated on his wife?

You're basis of this is no solid evidence.

Just hearsay and unnamed sources.

Sounds very liberal, MSM.

Support the guy you want. More power to you.

I acknowledge they all have flaws and issues (some more than others).

Sadly 99% of the Trumpkins I run across can't do the same about "their guy".

I'll still go to the polls (as I've said time and time again) and vote for the down ballot folks, if Trump in the nominee they're going to need all the help they can get.

However, there's NFW I'm voting for the fraud that is Trump. :nono:

You'd better be damn sure of that, because rest assured the Democrats will dig through every single possible tidbit and this wouldn't bother any Democrat candidate (because everybody expects they have no morals) but Cruz, well, he's the Christian candidate. He's running around with Glenn Beck, handing stuffed animals and soccer balls out to newly arrived illegals, and proclaiming the Trump isn't Christian enough. Trump is immune to such stuff, heck he's on his third marriage and his two ex-wives like him. So just be really really really sure about that. If Cruz gets the nomination and it's found that all along he had this in his closet, well, just saying that it will be the ultimate betrayal.

But I'm equal opportunity when it comes to this sort of thing. How about Kasich. If he dropped out now, all his delegates would go to Trump. How often do you hear that from the media? Uh, never.

And I'm done for now, I don't care if somebody is a Cruz, Kasich, or Trump person. Or even a Berniebot. Trump has been getting hammered from all sides the last two weeks. I can't remember ever seeing a front-runner for a presidential campaign getting so much active non-support from their party than Trump has. Well, since Reagan anyway.

Ah well this was my whole point. Cruz campaign made that up. Hah. So much fail in this campaign. And, still, Kasich won't quit because Trump gets his delegates.

Because if Kasich drops out then the delegates go to the second place winner. That's why. Essentially Trump would then be assured the nomination. That's why Kasich is still in the race, to keep the ball up in the air long enough for the GOPe, who is now pushing Cruz, and hope for a contested convention.
